Graphy’s in a Pickle, 2010, digital painting, 11 x 17”

To put down in words how I feel about the art I do, or myself as an artist, is nearly impossible. I have spent most of my life so far creating artwork for those I love, and the community I grew up in. This has resulted in so many different pieces of work, in countless materials, that I can barely remember the things I’ve made. Though I have found great success in painting, drawing, and using traditional mediums, I have found greater passion in working digitally. My biggest accomplishments, and the foundation to my pieces in this show, come from the combination of both worlds. I strive to prove that graphic design is indeed an art form that takes true talent and technique to become successful. I don’t know where graphic design will take me in the future, but I plan to make a name for myself wherever I end up.
