Tom Hopkins

Born in Summerside (Prince Edward Island), in 1944, Tom Hopkins studied at Mount Allison University and completed his M.F.A. at Concordia University (1987) where he thereafter taught from 1983 to 1997. In 1991, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia hosted a significant, catalogued, ten-year retrospective, "Narration of Icon". In 2001 he has solo exhibitions in Montreal, Vancouver and Boca Raton and has also been asked to participate in "Re-presenting Representation V" at the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira, New York.
