"In The Year Of Our Lord"
Rockwell Kent

In the Year of Our Lord, Rockwell Kent, 8" x 5 3/4" print on 19" x 14 1/2" rag paper is a preliminary drawing for an unpublished full edition of a wood engraving by the same title. It was loaned to the Plattsburgh State Art Museum by Gladys Spector for the purpose of producing a limited full edition of 159 prints. This has been done with agreement of the Rockwell Kent Legacies.


These limited edition prints will be given to those who contribute $125.00 or more to the Rockwell Kent Endowment of the Plattsburgh State College Foundation. This program was formally launched at the Rockwell Kent Symposium in August of 1994. Ed Brohel, in his welcoming address, stated that "the endowment would hopefully grow and provide funds for greater outreach and education. Subscriber-members throughout the country are encouraged to submit ideas for projects such as future symposia, endowed professorships or lecturers, study grants, etc...the possibilities are endless and the need is great."
