# 15, Gesture Drawing , 2000
steel sculpture, 8'
Terrance F. Chambrone

What can I say about my work and what art means to me? Art has been a constant in my life for the last five years and is a source of personal enjoyment. I really didn't discover how much I enjoyed making Art until I came to College and missed making it my freshman year. Soon after I decided to declare myself as an Art Major with a concentration in Photography. Over the last couple of years I found great enjoyment in Photography as it lets me capture the world in a different way that we see it everyday. Besides Photography I've found another source of great enjoyment-sculpture. My Sculpture and Photography are two completely different entities. Sculpture allows me to become massive and overly creative. I'm not limited to a simple piece of paper anymore and the sky becomes the limit. If I had to do anything differently from the last four years I wouldn't. I became an Artist because its' what I wanted to do and enjoy.

Plattsburgh State Home Page

The Plattsburgh State Art Museum is comprised of over 4,500 works of art, representing numerous regions of the world, from the ancient to the contemporary. Works are displayed within our three main galleries, an outdoor sculpture park and exhibition areas throughout the campus. These facilities produce over twenty-five exhibitions a year of both a national and regional nature. Expanding upon the pluralistic ideal of Andre Malreaux's concept of a "Museum Without Walls," the Plattsburgh State Art Museum has become an open visual art resource for the College and the Champlain Valley/Adirondack Region.
