graphic element Sean M. Cayea
oil on canvas
28 x 36Ē

How my mind interprets the images my eye takes in is a key element in my artwork. So is the emotions and presence a subject or landscape emits. I donít try to capture the exact image, like a photograph, because I am fueled by abstraction of forms and color. Drawing is both a starting point and a seamless extension of my paintings. To me, drawing is physical thinking; an idea is not fully understood until drawn.
