What fascinates me most about photography is the ability to capture a moment in time that will exist only once. You can never take the same picture twice. Recently, my photographs have focused on the human condition as well as color and abstraction. Through portraiture we can get a glimpse into someone else’s life in a real and honest way. I have been working on portraits of my father. I hope that my images capture a human quality that individuals can relate to or sympathize with.
A new area of exploration for me in photography is color. Many of my photographs are simply about color and composition. In these images I focus on imperfections, which are often overlooked but in fact show the beauty of ordinary objects.
