I create my personal body of work through the use of clay, paper and ink. The relationship among the three allows me to form an abstracted linear concept through line. Natural lines inspire my art; through the use of paper clay I create an open and engaging approach to both organic and angular lines. With my prints, through the use of paper and ink, I am able to create a similar linear approach. Connecting both mediums, ceramics and printmaking, has generated various dreamlike linear concepts that I am able to explore in an expressive manner. The juxtaposition of both sharp, angular lines and soft, curved lines are my visual response to the continuous movement of line that is created through a personal design concept.
