My art is my vocabulary. It is how I express myself. My images come from my dreams, a childhood memory, or a simple expression of how I am feeling at that point in time. I create art for the simple fact that it calms my mind and stirs my soul. Art makes me whole.

My candle burns at both ends,
it may not last the night.
But ah my foes and oh my friends
it gives a beautiful light.

Edna St. Vincent Millay
From “A Few Figs From Thistles”
