These are my attempts at learning how to understand. My life is divided into two parts, Living and Reflecting. When I am living, I open myself up to the world, acting as a receptor of moods, emotions, images, sounds, people, and moments. I react with a methodical impulsiveness to the surroundings and situations into which I am placed. A period of reflection and interpretation follows, similar to sleeping at the end of a long day. My art is a distorted reflection of my surroundings that have been modeled by all that I have experienced.
