graphic, left bracketClarity and visual impact are significant in my design. I believe graphic design needs to show the concept to the viewer with immediacy. Even a small change in color, direction of line, or negative space is easily perceived by a designer’s eyes in a flash. I like to work with such visual aspects in mind, and then trust my eye’s judgment.

The quality of line is very important in my drawings. A line can be really simple but can evoke many moods. When lines show movement, fluidity and speed, the drawing becomes independent. I enjoy the use of various mediums such as oil pastel, charcoal and gouache. The expression that comes from the direct action of my hand in traditional media is important to my work.
