Ashton Bush

graphic, left bracketUsing drawing and printmaking, I seek to convey the reality of farming and the ways in which this life style unites a family. To be successful, both farming and family requires working together for a common goal. Having been raised on a farm, I find it important to preserve that way of life. In an age where farming is often criticized for its effects on the environment, I feel there is another side of that story. There are environmentally conscious ways to farm and many small farms use these practices. I create my lithographs and linocuts with the hope that farmers and their daily struggles will be appreciated.graphic, left bracket
