Phi Mu Delta Nu Pi Colony

Introduction

Since its inception in Spring 2004, the Phi Mu Delta Nu Pi Colony has strived to be an embodiment of the ideals on which our organization was founded; democracy, service and brotherhood to which we quickly added one more - leadership. Though still a young colony we have quickly established a name for ourselves as men of great moral and potential. As we seek to write new chapters in our future we stand together today as men, as friends, as brothers.

How is Phi Mu Delta different from other fraternities?

Phi Mu Delta was founded with very specific ideals in mind, namely democracy, service and brotherhood. It was the first national fraternity to accept men regardless of their race or religious affiliation and encourages the professional and personal growth of each member.

What does Phi Mu Delta really do?

Phi Mu Delta is a very diverse philanthropic and social organization. As such our endeavors tend to also be very diverse in nature. Social events that we have hosted in the past include skating parties and raffles, and basketball tournaments. Phi Mu Delta also encourages service to the community and all its members are very active in serving the community around us. We were also the first organization on the Plattsburgh State campus to raise funds for the victims Hurricane Katrina and we raised far more than we had aimed. Each year Phi Mu Delta members also participate in a letter writing campaign called Up Til Dawn to help raise money for our philantrophy St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
