SPRING IS HERE! It's time to put on your shorts and enjoy the beautiful weather. It's also a time for completing term papers, final exams and finishing the semester strong.
When you are ready for a study break, there is a wealth of activities the next two weeks. Mad Chad, the wild and crazy chainsaw juggler will be appearing at 8 p.m., on Thursday May 1 in the ACC Warren Ballrooms. If trivia is your game, get a team of four and enter Trivia Night for a chance to win some great prizes. It's happening on Monday, May 5 in the Ballrooms. On May 7 the SA is teaming up with Sodexho and CAS for a Spring Picnic at Clinton Dining Hall, during dinner. Good food and great entertainment - definitely worth checking out.
On a more somber note, there will be two Candlelight Vigils next week. On Tuesday, April 29 at 8:30 p.m. the campus is invited to gather to honor the lives of Brian Mehan and Rachel Terry, two fellow classmates who lost their battles against cancer. On Wednesday, April 30 ZBT Fraternity will hold a vigil in memory of Joshua Szostak, former Plattsburgh State student who had been missing since December 2007. We are all saddened by the loss of our fellow classmates.
We at the Student Association wish you the best of luck in the weeks ahead. Remember to stay focused and work hard. The end is in sight.
